Egham Museum

Established in 1968, Egham Museum is an independent, community museum. Through our exhibitions, outreach programmes and innovative use of our collections, we provide for our local communities and visitors a centre of life-long learning dedicated to raising awareness, sharing knowledge and promoting enjoyment of history.
Egham Museum is also a dedicated teaching museum, specialising in providing opportunities for young people to gain experience, develop transferable vocational skills and, most importantly, to devise, develop and deliver their own projects.
We are also home to the Public History Lab, an innovative volunteering and research programme that, in partnership with Royal Holloway's Centre for Public History, acts as a bridge between campus and community, promoting dialogue and creating collaborative projects that link the university, museum and the wider community.
